    "Why can't things be magical without someone trying to explain it or figure it out?"
    Lex has done it again...this time with an "overgrown fish". I didn’t think Seducing Scylla could be topped, but this one definitely comes close!
    Triton is incredibly sweet, yet absolutely beastly when he needs to be. Elena is strong-willed, stubborn, but vulnerable. Together they create a perfect balance of sweet and salty.
    I loved seeing more of the island of Aeolia! Some questions were answered, while others left me eagerly waiting for the next installment. I’m certain we will get answers in future books.
    Novellas can sometimes feel too quick or underdeveloped, but Lex has truly mastered the format. While I always want more, this story had just the right amount. It's fast-paced, engaging and has that delectable slow-burn spice so many of us love.
    I cannot wait to dive (pun intended) deeper into the Mated Myths series as the books are released.

    Once again, we are swept away (literally and figuratively) to the island of Aeolia, but this time we are under it... well under the water.
    Elena is a swimmer with an Olympic medal under her belt, a tragic past she is struggling to accept and suffering a loneliness that tends to engulf her. She's also kidnapped and sent off in a shipping container to who knows where... because she never arrives - her and the other captured women are shipwrecked on an island with... interesting inhabitants.
    Triton is a Mer, alone for centuries except for his dolphin companion, waiting for the day his people come back for him... if they can ever get through the magical seal that keeps the island and surrounding waters hidden, that is. But then he scents something in the water, the trail leading to an injured Elena, and suddenly, maybe, just maybe, he's not so alone anymore.
    What follows is a beautiful journey of finding oneself, acceptance of change and growth, and learning to breathe underwater.
    Lex has a beautiful way of storytelling, and her use of legend and twists in Mer lore pushes the story forward but keeps it fresh and exciting.

    Lex Logan has done it again, but this time it’s even better. The plot of this story is absolutely incredible with ties to the first novel - excellent character and world building continued. “What is kiss?” SENT me! Not only that, but there were genuine parts where my jaw was on the floor - the beast within is dark and fiery. A sea king’s trident... literally man is build like a thork... you know, that fork that has 3 prongs. Yeah, wait until you read it and you will understand too. Who doesn’t love a merman who is learning about his new human mate and her needs and wants! I had butterflies, nervous twitches and breathless moments throughout reading this. Also I have to mention that Ichó is the real MVP of this story and is the cutest dolphin nanny. I loved this story so much and cannot wait for the next!
